I began my career as a photojournalist, before shifting my focus to advertising.
I approach projects with an emphasis on narrative, and I try to tell emotional
stories and create impactful imagery. I want my images to walk the line between
authentic and cinematic; between aspirational and real.
I thrive in high pressure shoot situations, and I’m able to quickly get great
performances from both actors and non-actors alike.
I am particularly experienced with integrated productions, including shooting
over-the-shoulder on live action productions, as well as directing video
and social scripts in tandem with making photographs.
I pride myself on the team I bring to every job, the time I take to understand
the unique needs of each assignment, my ability to problem solve on the fly,
and the fun that we have doing it.
I’m a current member of the Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Union Local 600).
